Art Prompts: I’m very, very easy to please with art, I promise. I really love wing motifs. For couples I like art that highlights differences, like the colorful way Velveteen dresses in contrasted with Aleister’s black. I have a weakness for art that shows a pairing standing back to back or one’s head in the other’s lap. Kenny with his one wing. Aleister sitting in his ring of candles. I love Significant Shadows, especially for characters like Drago and Aerostar who plausibly have different true forms. I like nice hands and well dressed characters in rumpled, half undone clothes and characters watching their loved one sleep. I love art, really anything.

WWE/NXT

Adam Cole/Bobby Fish/Kyle O'Reilly

I love these dirtbag cheating jerks so much! I really love the other three fussing over Adam and getting protective over him (like Bobby murdering EC3 for daring to pin him!) There’s so much history; Kyle and Adam especially have been either teaming or feuding for pretty much their entire adult lives. I would love anything that shows how these four, and the first three especially, know each other so well, both at their best and at their absolute worst. I love backstage celebrations: Adam, Kyle and Bobby waiting for the perfect time to strike at Brooklyn and celebrating afterward, partying after Bobby and Kyle won the tag titles (talk about history there, too!) etc. For Roddy I would love anything about what was going on in his mind right before he joined, or him being initiated into TUE. I would also love a set up where the other three have to watch Adam get beat up – standing on the apron while he’s isolated on the other side of the ring, them at ringside when he takes a scary bump – and they can’t do anything but fume and worry, than afterward have to patch him back together while plotting revenge. They’re awful but they all love each other and I love that.

I’m also a big fan of Adam’s BTE backstory so if you are too, please bring on the death and resurrection angst! Adam was poisoned and murdered by his best friends! I would love Adam having some lingering trauma the other three have to help him through, be it nightmares, claustrophobic flashbacks, etc. I’m also a big fan of anything centered around Adam’s return from the grave: him showing up at Kyle or Bobby’s door wild eyed after digging himself out, Adam haunting one or both of them, one of them making a crossroads deal to bring him back, Kyle and Bobby trying to contact him after the episode airs, thinking it was just a bit, and getting more and more frantic as the calls keep going straight to voice mail and there’s nothing on social media. And for Roddy I would love him realizing oh wait, that wasn’t a bit and having a lot of feelings about seeing Adam in pain.

Curt Hawkins/Ember Moon

I loved their team up so much! I’m so sad it seems like it was a one off thing. I would absolutely love anything with Ember deciding that no, she can fix him, especially in a scenario where they’re stuck teaming longer. He tried so hard and she was so exasperated! It was great and I just want more where she eventually teaches him how to win again (because if she is stuck with him she’s definitely not going to lose every night!) Tag teams going from hostility to grudging tolerance to surprised affection is one of my favorite wrestling tropes and these two such potential for it. I would also be all for Ember discovering that poor Curt’s ineptitude is supernatural in nature, a curse or a spell – maybe she invites him to her D&D game and he doesn’t roll above a 3 all night, or something else that starts to make her wonder.

Bayley | Davina Rose/Elias Samson
Finn Balor | Prince Devitt/Bayley | Davina Rose/Elias Samson

Bayley and Elias were my FAVORITE thing. I would love anything with them, their push-pull is great and I love how no matter how he tries to keep her at arm’s length it never quite works out that way. I would especially like something with Elias showing up at her door after a tough beating needing some comfort, or Elias skulking around backstage when she’s had a rough night and need someone there. These two are about those small unexpected moments for me.
And Finn! Elias and Finn inexplicably teaming at house shows recently is the best thing and it’s not hard to not to extrapolate that Bayley is what they have in common. I would LOVE something involving the Demon – Elias having made a crossroads deal like a proper blues guitarist, it coming due and Bayley not having it, turning to Finn to fix things. I would also love Elias and Finn kind of grudgingly coexisting for Bayley’s sake and starting to bond as they get more comfortable with each other to Bayley’s delight, or Elias getting whumped on in the ring and Finn getting surprised at having feelings about it. If sex is involved I would really like a V arrangement that turns into more of a true triangle, or Finn and Bayley not having been more than friends before she starts up with Elias, Finn getting jealous and trying to talk himself down from it, but then having to get involved anyway – Elias needs some magical help, maybe. (this would be an excellent time for some accidental soulbonds.)

Aleister Black | Tommy End/Velveteen Dream

It’s everything I love about Aleister/Dream: the one upsmanship, Dream pushing Aleister to react, Dream wanting his approval but going about it in the most aggravating way possible. I would love anything with them, from an angry, frustrated Aleister trying to get his vest back to the aftermath of their match to the two of them mutually going to war with DIY. I would especially love anything centered around Aleister’s attack: Dream sitting guard over him at the hospital to make sure no one else gets to him, What Nicki Knows (especially if what she knows is how distraught poor Dream was), etc. Dream was the only once really upset that Aleister was hurt, and he immediately launched himself at Johnny and Tommaso right after. Was Aleister surprised about any of that? I love these two being forced to have real emotions around each other. I would especially love any supernatural goings on: Aleister or Dream getting caught up in some magical effects and needing backup, a true love’s kiss/soul magic scenario where something only works or is dispelled because of the other, Dream trying magic to help or save Aleister and having to pay the consequences, anything like that. I would also be very into any AUs where Johnny goes too far in a match with Dream and hurts him to get him out of the way, and Aleister has all kinds of emotions about it.

Antonio Cesaro/Sheamus

How cute are these two? I would love anything: fluff of the two of them bickering about radio stations driving to shows, the two of them fooling around during a photo shoot (kilts do provide easy access!), celebrating after a win, patching each other up after a loss, especially if it’s Cesaro fussing over Sheamus and Sheamus quietly enjoying it because he’s not someone who normally gets fussed over. I’d also love anything set early on when they were just starting to tolerate each other – I’ve always headcanoned that Sheamus realized how deep he was in first, so some pining there would be great, or that big revelation moment when Cesaro finally threw himself into all this. I would also be very into a monkey’s paw situation where Cesaro wakes up to find himself with the big titles and singles success that everyone is always saying he should have, but it happened because he and Sheamus never teamed and Cesaro has to figure out how to fix this terrible darkest timeline. Cesaro goes way back with Sami and Dean, maybe something with him seeing them unhappy (especially Dean lately, wow) and realizing “damn, I’ve got it pretty good.” On a more angsty note, Sheamus getting banged up and Cesaro getting freaked out and over protective (or maybe vengeful!), it bringing up everything with happened with Tyson, and Sheamus figuring it out finally and reassuring him.

Tommaso Ciampa/Johnny Gargano

I LOVE how dark these two are getting, please lean all the way into their codependent glory. Tommaso goading Johnny on and Johnny not wanting to give in but slipping anyway, obsessive stalking, just obsession in general. Johnny’s been leaning hard on the Venom imagery, anything that works with that where Johnny feels like Tommaso is something he needs to be whole and hates it the whole way (this is another excellent soul bond scenario) Johnny making a monkey’s paw wish or a crossroads deal to finally be rid of Tommaso and it backfiring, Johnny hallucinating Tommaso when Tommaso isn’t there (Tommaso is injured or worse, maybe) one or both of them getting hit by sex pollen and it bringing out every repressed urge, Johnny snapping and doing something violent again like when he’d attacked Aleister and Tommaso completely getting off on it. I love Johnny’s “hero of the story” delusion and would be completely into him losing himself in it until he can’t see that he and Tommaso are both the villains (arguably he might be there already!) Bring on the dysfunction.

Ibushi Kota/Kenny Omega

Okay, this is very cheating but I have gotten great fic from tag set glitches before! :D I would love an AU where Kota did stay with WWE after the CWC and how that butterfly effects things with Kenny: him watching Kenny win the G1 and go on to WK from so far away, Kenny’s outsized hurt and betrayal and lashing out, all of it. Maybe Kenny starts to spiral as Kota reaches the top and Kota can’t do anything but watch, or they run into each other when Kota is on tour in Japan or Canada and Kenny happens to be in the same place (maybe Kota has a travel disaster and Kenny helps despite himself, and everything is regret and missed opportunities!) Or Kenny gets hurt and the Bucks call Kota in the middle of the night to get himself back to Japan, and Kota of course drops everything. Give me your best achy, prickly canon divergence. I love dream sharing and this would be a great time for it.

New Japan

Chase Owens/Kota Ibushi

Chase reaching out to Kota for Kenny’s sake was so sweet and Chase paid so dearly for it. I would love anything with Kota and Chase bonding on that loop or any of the later tours, especially with Kota being surprised at how much he likes hanging out with Chase. Kota has so few real friends in kayfabe! Kota loves trolling Chase, maybe he takes it a little far and has to make up the hurt feelings? And anything with Kota trying to pick Chase up after the rest of the OGs turn on him would be lovely. I would also love anything set in the near future, with Chase back in Bullet Club’s good graces while Kota is alone without Kenny or the rest of the Elite and Chase isn’t able to resist reaching out to him, even though it’s a risk. With Kenny I would love him skyping in while Kota and Chase are in bed and directing traffic, or the three of them training together in Ibushi’s gym. I love Chase’s torn loyalties and would love something that plays into that, be it Kenny still trusting Chase to look out for Kota or Kota knowing Chase will go back to the rest of Bullet Club eventually, wishing things could be different but not knowing how. These three are bittersweet for me because they’re all (potentially!) going in different directions and I love the moments when they manage to be together.

Chase Owens/Tama

Things have been happening here, huh? I would be very into some “Welcome back to the family!” celebrating! Conversely, I would also be very into darkfic where Tama goes after Chase for the perceived betrayal, or where alternatively Tama tries to seduce Chase into coming back to the fold or to be his spy with the Elite, especially if some angsty double agenting happens on Chase’s side. Chase gets hurt and Tama is beside himself over it despite everything. Tama is one of the founders and I love the idea of that letting him tap into the demonic power Finn left behind; have him show up in Chase’s dreams to berate him for choosing the wrong side (and maybe things get a little heated) or have him realize his anger over the situation is leaking out and causing effects he didn’t actually want. Or have Tama use that power to help Chase, because despite it all Chase IS loyal to Bullet Club and Tama knows that means something.

David Finlay/Jay White


This is my darkfic OTP so go all out, from Finlay making really bad choices to dubcon to outright noncom. I would love Finlay taking the wrong lesson from the Golden Lovers and trying to will Jay into coming back around, Jay realizing it and letting it play out until David realizes he’s made a mistake because Jay is not Kenny. I love the idea of Jay seeing his feelings for David as a weakness he has to cut out (but he can’t quite.) I would love Jay sex pollening David, especially if poor Finny knows he’s doing it and letting it happen, or Jay threatening Juice so David will give him is way. I love the history they have and resentments that have built up because of it, where Jay feels like David got softer treatment because of his family (no being sent on excursion, and even David has said the dojo trainers were easier on him because of respect for his father) and it creating a fierce need for Jay to prove himself, whereas David has no idea what Jay’s deal is. All for knifeplay and bloodplay here. Have them be locked in a dysfunctional cycle where they can’t stay away from each other. And of course good old fashioned hatesex is always welcome.

El Desperado | Mikami Kyosuke/Takahashi Hiromu

Speaking of history and hatesex! I love all the implications that these two really know each other and hate each other for it. Despey is Hiromu’s white whale who beat him six ways to Sunday back at the dojo and who he still can’t quite put to rest, while Despey hates and resents Hiromu for becoming such a crowd darling and loves dragging him back down to earth. Hiromu is so sunny and I love the darkness that Desperado brings out of him. I loved that moment in their match where Despey’s mask came off and he momentarily didn’t care, because why would he with Hiromu? Hiromu already knows his face. I would love anything kinking on the mask and in general the identities these two have constructed for themselves, with it all falling away when they’re together because deep down they will always be those two dojo kids who loved and hated each other then and still love and hate each other now. I realize these aren’t actually prompts but they have a dynamic I love and have a hard time prompting for! Just more of it, I guess.

Ibushi Kota/Kenny Omega

Give me every schmoopy soulmate trope you have in you. Dream sharing. Feeling each other’s pain. Knowing exactly what each other is thinking. I don’t normally go for high school AUs but these two are my exception, have Kenny be the exchange student who spends a semester in Kota’s school and they fall into ridiculous dramatic love with each other. Have Kenny get sucked into the video game he’s playing (Bullet Club demon shenanigans, maybe?) and Kota has to save him. Have Kota be an actual golden star who fell to earth because he fell in love with Kenny Omega. (I would actually be very into Kota being slightly to very inhuman in general, be it secretly a highly advanced wrestlebot programmed with too many emotions or something faerie that’s forgotten where he came from. As long he falls in love with Kenny!) I would also love anything leaning into Kenny’s one winged angel motif, be it him actually being a fallen angel to match Kota’s golden star or just plain old wing fic. And of course anything post reunion! I’m just very in the mood for OTT schmoop with these two. (Although if angst is more your speed, I am always here for anything set during Kota’s Tiger Mask W phase, with him skulking around Kenny masked and Kenny either not knowing it’s him due to the law of wrestling masks or Kenny pretending he doesn’t know and Kota pretending he doesn’t know Kenny is pretending.)

Bless whoever nominated this. Please write Milano finally teaching poor Chase the paradise lock and things either getting out of hand (all according to Milano’s plan!) if it’s ship fic or mentoring Chase if it’s gen, it’s all good. Chase struggled a LOT this past year and Milano reaching out to help him would be lovely, especially since Milano is so fond of him. I would also be up for Milano trying to teach Chase how to dress as part of all this, since Milano is such a fashion plate and Chase, bless him, is not.

Will Ospreay/Takahashi Hiromu

My guys! I love these flirty jerks so much. I would love more of them twitter flirting and the two of them sneaking around because interfaction fraternizing isn’t really supposed to be a thing (while Okada and Naito roll their eyes at how not sneaky they’re not being.) I love the flirty petplay they do and would like more, either actually doing petplay with Will being surprised how into it he is (I would like them to ease into it slowly, until Will realizes he’s slept at the foot of Hiromu’s bed every night this tour) or Hiromu being right that Will is a cat, either catboy style and Will getting very upset that Hiromu keeps trying to blow his cover or Will being an actual werecat (and getting very upset that Hiromu keeps trying to blow his cover!) Maybe Daryl misinterprets things and magically turns Will into a cat, forcing Hiromu to have to take care of him until they can get it fixed and Will being absolutely furious about it? I’m very fond of Daryl being a magical thing in general and never, ever get tired of Will getting in trouble and Daryl getting him out of it for Hiromu’s sake. I am all also for Will getting in over his head with Jay when Jay was running with Chaos and Hiromu getting beside himself with worry watching.

Ring of Honor

Matt Taven/TK O'Ryan/Vinny Marseglia

I would be very into a story where Vinny is something trying to pass for human and not doing a great job of it – a Shinigami, a cryptid, Mothman, escaped demon, some kind of bog monster, etc – who’s found himself getting very fond of these humans. (That time TK broke his leg would be a great time for that realization to hit, too.) Or maybe Vinny acts like a horror movie villain because he escaped from one, and the other two find that out in the worst possible way? Vinny having to rescue them from getting sucked into a horror movie would be great because Matt and TK would be the worst possible horror movie protagonists, they would be dead in seconds without him. Basically anything with Vinny creepily looking out for his dumb jerk teammates with his creepy supernatural powers, maybe being doing it from afar when Matt was in Mexico, or one of them getting hurt and Vinny enacting terrible vengeance. (If you need a good target, I will always be there for terrible things befalling the Briscoes.) I love villains who would burn down the world for each other and the Kingdom are such a great example of that

Punishment Martinez/Jay White

Jay and Punishment had such a fun little rivalry! I would love a story where Punishment is the worst possible influence on young Jay, sensing the potential and slowly bringing the Switchblade out. Have Punishment be the thing in America that turned such a nice young man into a deviant, as Don would put it. Punishment has occult leanings (he had an actual cult at one point!) and I’d love Jay to get fascinated by the spellcraft (this is another good opportunity for bloodplay! Bring on the blood magic!) I’d love for them to keep testing each other and never quite trust each other, but really understand each other despite it all.

Lucha Underground

I miss these three all teaming together so much. Have Havoc pick up Angelico hitchhiking somewhere on the lonesome road (either going to the Temple or maybe even before reuniting there, the two of them being surprised to see each other again?) or come to the rescue after Worldwide Underground broke his leg last year, bringing him home out of a lack of any other ideas. I loved how the three of them all got on each other’s nerves but were a perfect team, a three way unwanted, accidental soulbond would be great. Maybe an AU where one of them gets sacrificed and the other two ride to the rescue? I’m a big fan of Actual Angel Angelico – have him save Havoc or Ivelisse from Catrina’s death magic but it corrupts his angelic nature and they have to figure out how to fix him. Or maybe Pentagon breaks his arm and Havoc and Ivelisse have to take care of him, falling back in love in the process? Or Angelico and Havoc bonding after Ivelisse has left them behind, knowing there’s a missing piece. And title celebrations are always welcome!

Dario Cueto/Matanza Cueto (Lucha Underground)

Boy oh boy, these two. I would love Dario going to increasingly desperate lengths to save his little brother’s soul, or Dario’s adventures in the afterlife (maybe seeing visions of what their lives would have been had Antonio not been…well, Antonio?) Matanza also freaking out because Dario got hurt is always welcome, especially if he uses is god powers in ways he was never intended. Post S4 speculation would also be amazing, with Dario back to life after the worst possible thing has happened and taking it upon himself save Matanza somehow anyway. I loved that road trip with Lotus in S2 and would be all for the Cueto Bros having adventures on the road. Ship or gen is equally good here, as long as they’re super intense about each other it’s all good. (Dario carried Matanza’s soul around in a key! A key worn over his heart!)

El Gato | Drago/Aero Star (Lucha Underground)

Anything with these two, they are my LU OTP of OTPs. Aerostar desperately trying plan after plan to save Drago and all of them failing, or him breaking time and erasing himself in a last ditch effort, leaving Drago to have to save him now. I love time travel and couples meeting at different points of their timelines, I would be all for first meeting fic where the first time Drago meets Aerostar isn’t the first time Aerostar meets him and vice versa. Drago going after Aerostar while he’s brainwashed because he knows Aerostar is important but doesn’t remember why, and Aerostar letting it happen (or Drago consciously doing it because he wants to push Aerostar away for his own good!) Aerostar being used to break Drago, either because Kobra threatened him or actually tortured him to get Drago to give in, with Aerostar not remembering. Fic back in the past showing how Drago broke away from the Reptiles the first time around, especially if Aerostar was the catalyst for it. And reunion fic, with these two learning each other again (especially since Drago had that big crisis and flew off to find himself, only to promptly come back the hot second Aerostar was in the slightest amount of peril.) I would also like Drago being Aerostar’s port in the storm while he’s doing the terrible things he has to do to combat the gods, with Aerostar trying to keep Drago from getting too involved because he already almost lost him once and can’t bear to risk it again (and Drago of course not caring for that at all.)

Fénix/Maxine | Catrina (Lucha Underground)

I am very in the mood for fic where the real reason Fenix came back wrong is because he brought Catrina back with him and they’re in the same body, with Catrina always in his head and whispering in his ear. I love fic where they really can’t be without each other, the Death Priestess and the Man Who Can’t Die, no matter what they (especially Fenix) would like. I would also love anything about how they met and there relationship before the Temple and the wrecking ball it always is in the lives of everyone around them.

Pentagón Jr./Ricochet | Prince Puma (Lucha Underground)

This is my LU hatesex OTP; as the seasons went on these two became such mirrors of each other and I’d love to see that explored. Go into what it means to be mentored by Vampiro! Back in S2 they had such great chemistry, with Puma just starting to fall and Pentagon on the rise, the two of them repelling each other and drawing each other in at the same time. Fic set after Penta was injured in the gauntlet match would also be fantastic, when Puma is fully in Vamp’s thrall – maybe Puma shows up in Penta’s dreams while Penta is at his weakest. I would so extremely into post S4 fic crossing over with NXT, where a confused and lost and hunted Pentagon shows up at Ricochet’s door because he’s an asshole with no other friends, and Ricochet has his awful, traumatic, mask wearing past staring him in the face instead of safely buried where it belongs.
