redleaderficHello! Thank you for chosing one of my very favorite characters from one of my very favorite fandoms, let's let the spooky times roll!
General Likes: Hurt/Comfort, (LOVE h/c!) UST finally spilling over, first time/get together fics, unspoken feelings that stay unspoken but are blindingly obvious anyway, bedside vigils/general watching over someone, angst and uncertainty leading into happy endings, sneaking around, sex pollen, getting it on in the locker rooms after matches, dramatic rescues, road trips, spur of the moment bondage, missing scenes/episode tags, wall sex, time travel. Any rating, G rated fluff to explicit more than welcome.
Trick Specific Likes: cursed/possessed items, ghosts and spirits in general, crossroad deals and other assorted deals with the devil, spellbooks of unknown and suspect provenance, demonic possession, time travel gone horribly wrong. Basically, if a plot can be summed up with “[magic thing happens] and them everything went HORRIBLY WRONG” I am there for it. Tricks can have happy or dark endings, this is the one exchange where I’m good with either.

1. Brian Pillman (WCW)
Brian changes a LOT towards the end of his WCW tenure, doesn’t he? I’d love anything that puts a supernatural spin on what was going on with him – demonic possession changing him from the sweet babyface who impressed the world to what he is by the time he’s teaming with Steven and running with the Horseman, for example, or anything else in that vein. Especially if Brian is all in on the demon or cursed amulet or whatever it is that changes him so much (maybe this is how he always wishes he’d been!) He was tangling with Kevin Sullivan at the time after all, who knows what magical nonsense could have attached itself to Kevin or that Brian could have found poking around the Dungeon of Doom. I ship Brian very, very hard with Steve Austin and the Blondes were my favorite team, so feel free to include him with Brian on whatever the magical misadventure winds up being.

Okay, so in D&D there are monsters called Inevitables that hail from the realm of Mechanus and come after anyone who breaks important contracts. I would LOVE something like that – not a death robot per se, but some kind of unstoppable supernatural force, like a vengeance spirit or the like – to come after Michael and Terry for slamming that cage door on Kerry’s head and revealing themselves to be the traitorous jerks they are. Maybe Kerry makes a “will no one rid me of this turbulent priest” sort of wish in front of the wrong cursed statue, maybe whatever offended wrestling spirit just really likes the Von Erichs, but I want SOMETHING stalking Michael and Terry (and Buddy!) for their crimes. Whether it gets them or they defeat it with the power of love or they challenge it to a drinking contest is cool with me, I’m really here for that initial dread and the sense that they’ve really screwed up this time, and the two of them especially trying to save each other (up to and including heroic self-sacrifice. In fact, hopefully including that!)
WWE
1. Adam Cole (WWE)
Anything and everything featuring Adam’s miraculous return from the dead and his arrival in NXT! Feel free to throw BTE continuity re: his resurrection out the window! I would love anything with Ghost!Adam haunting the Performance Center, caught between worlds and freaking the hell out of the roster, to Finn having a hand in his reincorporation (Adam was Bullet Club, after all) to Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish taking it upon themselves to take a trip to the underworld to save him. I don’t especially ship Adam with anyone but I also don’t especially NOT ship him with anyone, so feel free to indulge if you have a favorite ship for him. (I do ship Bobby/Kyle a bit, especially in a forced-to-work-with-your-ex, oops-feelings-are-still-there way.)
2. Bray Wyatt (WWE)
I love anything and everything to do with the Family, Sister Abigail, Weird Goings On at the Compound, all of it. Bray being brought up in the Family, Bray doing weird rituals, dumb/desperate wrestlers asking Bray for magic help that of course turns into horrific monkey’s paw scenarios, Bray actually being an angel with his singed wings, just go all out on weird Wyatt happenings. If you’re including extended members of the Family, I ship both Bray/Luke and Bray/Randy and have a big fondness for Erick, but I’m perfectly happy with Bray being creepy and terrible and a monstrous force of evil all on his own.
3. Finn Balor (WWE)
I’m here for the Demon. The Demon taking total control and puppeteering Finn around (or taking control of others and Finn having to deal with it,) Finn really becoming his demon for good, the Demon having relationships Finn has no idea about, True Form body horror, anything that really goes deep on Finn canonically being demon possessed and that sometimes he lets it out to skitter crawl his body to the ring and terrify his opponents. (Outside POV on that would be good, especially if it’s someone watching Finn lose his grip against the Demon in horror.) I would also love anything dealing with how the Bullet Club was partially founded by someone possessed by an actual demon and what the ramifications of that might mean – does everyone sell a little bit of their soul when they join? Do they know that beforehand? What happens if you try to leave? CAN you leave, even if you wanted to? (It certainly seems like you never fully do, doesn’t it?)
4. Waylon Mercy (WWE)
I’d love anything that treats Waylon as the inhuman, malevolent force he seemed to be. Make him magic, make him some kind of demon, anything that explores what exactly his deal was. Maybe he’s still lurking around the WWE, glimpsed only in shadows and whispering in the talent’s ear at weak moments? I would also love anything connecting him to the Wyatts and building from there – put him and Bray side by side, especially early Bray, and it’s not hard to see there might be some kind of connection there. Abigail is clearly Bray’s guiding force, but that doesn’t mean she has to be his only one.
NJPW
1. Chase Owens (NJPW)
Oh, Chase. I would love anything with Chase finding SOMETHING – a monkey’s paw, a cursed book, a youkai at the train station – that he uses in an attempt to raise his star in the Bullet Club only for it all to have horrible results. Maybe he even has good intentions! He may make a wish trying to make everyone get along again and everything spirals out of control. Any story that has him do something incredibly ill-advised, even if well-meaning, that becomes a disaster would be welcome. I do ship Chase/Kenny in a very one-sided, awed crush on Kenny kind of way (that Kenny may or may not be above taking advantage of when his actual favorites aren’t around) so feel free to make poor Chase’s scheme Kenny-focused – maybe he wants to give Kenny an edge to get the title and that…does not go as planned, or Kenny gets grievously injured and Chase does something dumb and supernatural to save him (or even someone close to Kenny is the one hurt, like Kota or one of the Bucks and Chase can't handle seeing Kenny distraught over it!) Maybe there’s a side reality where Chase Owens is the most acclaimed wrestler in the world, and he sacrifices it all knowing no one will ever know. I’d also love anything where Chase is not quite human – a demon, a youkai, some kind of fey, a shapeshifter, what have you – trying desperately to stay unnoticed but keeps having to use his powers for the Bullet Club. Secret hero Chase Owens!
2. Daryl Takahashi (NJPW)
Remember that section in my likes about cursed and possessed items? That right here. I would love ANYTHING with Daryl being more than what he seems, from a Chucky-style actually possessed item that’s taken a liking to Hiromu to something given life by Hiromu’s belief in him and in love with him/willing to do anything for him, to Hiromu being right about how he used to talk about his junior heavyweight title being a person – it was, kind of, and whatever was there transferred to Daryl to stay with and guard Hiromu. I’d also love anything dealing with Daryl’s traumatic if temporary death at Bad Luck Fale’s hands, especially Ghost!Daryl haunting the Bullet Club and unleashing his terrible kitty vengeance. I would also love anything that has Daryl being behind Will Ospreay’s sudden catness – maybe Daryl is whispering in Hiromu’s ear and that’s where this is coming from (he wants Hiromu to be happy! And clearly Hiromu likes cats! If he loves Will, Will must be a cat!) I would also love something dark where Daryl is trying to manifest through Will out of love for Hiromu because him becoming human is the only way they can be together, with all the body snatching/body horror that would include.
3. Ibushi Kota (NJPW)
I want anything with Kota in a moment of weakness trying something to change what happened between him and Kenny - a wish on a monkey’s paw, ill-advised time travel, etc. – and it having absolutely catastrophic side effects like accidentally wiping Kenny out of the timeline or Kota getting trapped in a Groundhog Day style time loop. I’d also love anything where Kota does sign with the WWE after the CWC and stays away from Japan only for it to butterfly effect into a nightmare that he has to now fix. (Or knows that he can’t fix and has to live with, if we’re going for the Bad Ending.)

Treats (or fluffy Tricks!) only! Well, unless Daryl is up to no good, but we’ve covered that already. Lumping them together because I’ve really loved the madness happening between them right now and would love anything building on that, from Will magically becoming more and more catlike through Hiromu’s will and not actually being so upset about it, really? Or anything with Will actually being a cat, either because he’s a werecat/panther/etc. and trying to keep it quiet or some kind of magically transformed cat that’s grown to really like being a human and would like that to not be messed up, HIROMU. I love their weird flirting and would like some more, with even more explicit magical catness. Will growing cat ears, etc., is more than welcome, although if he goes full shapeshifter please keep him mostly human if anything physical happens (he doesn’t need to be that much cat! :D)
Lucha Underground
1. Aero Star (LU)

Grouping them together because they are completely enmeshed at this point! I would like literally anything involving: 1) time travel mishaps, especially ones where Aerostar keeps trying to save Drago from Kobra Moon and just keeps making new and ever more terrible alternate timelines, 2) Kobra Moon’s terrible mind control and Drago either fighting it and/or secretly trying to protect Aerostar from it 3) anything about how they met and their pasts, especially if it involves time travel and meeting each other out of sequence 4) anything about Aerostar and Drago trying to survive and protect each other in the apocalypse the Aztec God Doomsday Cult seems to be trying to bring about (whether they succeed or not!) Aerostar time jumping from some terrible Days of Future Aztec Past timeline in a last ditch effort to save Drago would be amazing, especially if Drago doesn’t understand what Aerostar’s trying to do and what’s happened until it’s (maybe only almost?) too late. Also very here for Aerostar time hopping back to when he and Drago were happy, either to surreptitiously warn him or just to be able to deal with what’s going on only for Drago to put the pieces together and that’s why it all happens, because Drago knows it HAS to happen.
3. Dario Cueto (LU)
I would like anything dealing with 1) Dario and Matanza’s childhoods, especially around the time of their mother’s death and how everyone dealt with that 2) Dario trying to deal with this doomsday cult and possessed brother situation he’s found himself in. I don’t know how he’s going to deal with things in canon as of this writing, but I’m very invested in him and Matanza and would like to take him at face value that he doesn’t want to lose what’s left of his brother. I would also be very into Dario falling into Aztec god trouble himself and Matanza having to save him. I love scheming, violence happy Dario and would like anything about this tightrope we’ve been watching him walk.

And grouping these three together because it’s hard to separate them anymore! I would love anything with Vampiro’s weird magic training and his mentoring Pentagon and/or Puma, especially the differences between the two, and how he brought Puma back from the dead. For Pentagon, I’d love anything dealing with him trying so hard to impress his mysterious maestro in S1 to him discovering who Vampiro really is to him being broken by Matanza and finally to him breaking away from Vampiro to go it on his own, for better or for worse. For Puma, I would love ANYTHING dealing with losing Konnan. (We know he dreams about Konnan – does Puma see him when he’s awake, too? Does he think Konnan is haunting him? Is he right about that?) How did that influence him being unable to follow Rey and what does he think about now being under Vampiro’s sway? What are their training sessions like? I ship Pentagon/Puma, so I would love anything with them, especially with Vampiro’s shadow falling over everything. Do they have a connection now, whether they want it or not?
Ring of Honor
1. Marty Scurll
The Villain! I would like any story expanding on Marty’s villain-ness and giving him a supernatural bent to go along with the plague mask. What made him choose this villainous path? Is there a test? Why did he throw in with the Bullet Club? I would love a Venture Brothers-style secret life for him that he has to balance with his wrestling life, or even a full-scale superhero AU. I ship him pretty hard with Kenny so I would love him doing villainy for Kenny’s sake, secretly breaking whatever rules there are that govern True Villains to help Kenny out from afar when he can. (The Guild of Calamitous Intent can be pretty strict sometimes!) I would also love anything building on that promo of Kenny’s stating that every fairy tale needs a villain, either an actual fairy tale AU or just Marty having a supernaturally enhanced sense of how the world works and what his place in it is. (I also ship him with the Bucks, and all of them together, but would be happy with gen where they're all fighting dragons or whatever villainy they're up to.)
